Preface<\/b><\/h1>

\u201cA scribe, who had been listening to their discussion and saw that Jesus was answering them well, approached and asked Him, \u201cWhich of the commandments is the most important?\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Jesus replied: \u201cThe most important thing is this: \u2018Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is one Lord. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: \u2019You shall love your neighbor as yourself.\u2018 There is no greater commandment than these.\u2019\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u201cYou have spoken well, Teacher,\u201d the scribe said to Jesus. \u201cYou have spoken the truth when you said, \u2018God is one and there is no other. To love God with all one's heart, with all one's understanding and with all one's strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.\u2019\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0The foundation of our lives is to love God and to love our neighbors (everyone around us). When we come before God in body, mind and heart, we worship in spirit and in truth, as Jesus said, \u201cworshipping in spirit and in truth\u201d (John 4:23).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0As a matter of fact, John, the disciple of Christ, who said, \u201cHe who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen\u201d (1 John 4:20), conveyed to us what the essence of our lives should be.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0It is important to emphasize that these are not rules, even if we have mentioned the basic order of prayer in our daily prayer. Even if it is incomplete or incorrect, we can continue to pray, remembering that we can do it more regularly over time. The important thing is to spend time with the LORD in His presence and to hear His voice. To give voice to the Holy Spirit within us and to act according to His leading.<\/span><\/p>

      - Prostration, which is the culmination of our humility before God, shows that we have \u201csurrendered to God\u201d. When we prostrate ourselves, we can now offer everything that is in our hearts to our Father in sincerity. \u201cBut <\/em><\/span><\/span>sincerely<\/b><\/em><\/span> the hour is coming when worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. That hour is now. And the Father is looking for such worshippers.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/span> (John 4:23)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

          \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The Lord values our connection with others as much as He values our connection with Him. We can make a prayer list and keep a day-by-day list of people we pray for regularly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

            • How can I pray for the people I spend time with today?<\/span><\/li>
            • How can I pray for people on my prayer list?<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>
